Renewable Energy Education in the Classroom

This course offers renewable energy hands on activities, class discussions, and classroom based application to help teachers analyze energy information and create strategies and techniques to enhance their students' understanding of energy. The course will highlight renewable energy curriculum designed for teachers to use in their classroom. Recommended for teachers of grades 5-12, adaptable to younger grades.

Job Opportunity Limited Term Employee- Water/Sewer Department

Waunakee Utilities is accepting applications for a limited-term position in the water/sewer department which is anticipated to last approximately six months. There is no application acceptance period for this position as the position needs to be filled as soon as possible.

Position Overview

This position will be one that supports the operation of the water and sewer utility. Tasks will include assisting with the operation and maintenance of fire hydrants and water valves, buildings and grounds maintenance (including lawn and weed maintenance), assisting water and sewer crews with general day-to-day system maintenance including sewer cleaning, meter reading, and other items as assigned by the utility.
